ok here is my problem. i am making a lvl 5 team for the little cup on pokemon stadium 2 R2(been a while and i didnt beat it). i want a machop with the follow moves rock slide, ice punch, light screen, and cross chop. i have a male and female machoke and champ with all those moves on each but when i get the egg and it hatches it doesn't have rock slide, so i checked and since its not a TM and machop doesn't learn it by lvling i cant get it. but in later pokemon games he can.

so my question is can i just take the egg or the two parents to one of the newer games and breed them to get my machop with the move set i want and trade it back to silver?

The newest game you'll be able to trade to is Crystal. The GBA games and later aren't compatible with the first two generations because they changed quite a few mechanics.
