You know how you used to always want to be a superhero, or you wanted video game characters to be real? Just think about how horrible it would be. Every day would be chaos because something would wreak havoc, or some sick narcissistic madman would try to conquer the world with his legion of evil.

I thought about the similarities too. I think Goji is right. Seeing as how eggs need proper care to determine what to hatch into: Pikachu and Raichu, in the wild, give birth to Pikachu. But bred near humans, you get Pichu.

I always found it weird that a Kangaskhan egg would always hatch a mother and a child. That's pretty messed up.

They're like Tribbles born pregnant!

But, as the only two mons with a story about their mother of the first 149, they do make sense.

Chapuunka they don't need to "make" a baby Kangaskahn, it's already there. What they need to do is seperate it from the mother some how. (other than cubone)

There's no reason to believe there are going to be any new Pokemon in the Gold/Silver remakes. The Red/Blue remakes didn't have any new Pokemon, so why should the Gold/Silver ones.

There's little reason for them to do it, and no reason for them not to do it. It could go either way.

There's plenty of reason for them them not to do it. Backwards compatibility is a big issue. Sure, they can do what they did in the original games with the time machine mechanic, but that means more coding and bug checking on their end.

Expect more of this Formes bullshit in the Gold Silver remakes. There's already notched ear Pichu (see avatar) and Pikachu coloured Pichu (wow imaginative) confirmed.

Anyway, this is some pretty compelling shit Goji, I don't know what we're going to do with this. The whole evolution tree needs to be looked at.

What I would like to see is more uniqueness to Pokemon's appearance. Something similar to how Spinda works, having colors placed via a formula. There was talk about more uniqueness to Pokemon appearance, but I don't know what exactly they're planning to do.
