well, personaly, i cant really choose between chimchar and piplup.although ive always chosen piplup, chimchar is pretty cool. he evolves into infernape.=^^=

The ones practically, I think, is always grass, because of the lack of good grass types in the game (to my knowledge, anyway). My personal favorites, though:

R/B/Y: Squirtle
G/S/C: Cyndaquil
R/S/E: Mudkip
D/P/Pt: Turtwig

My all-time favorite would have to be Cyndaquil.
Have you ever thought about what Nurse Joy says after she heals your Pokemon? "We hope to see you again!" Does she WANT your Pokemon to get hurt?
