Right click on the avatar using Firefox and click copy image location. Paste this in a Firefox address bar and press enter it will ask you to download it and then you'll have to open with Firefox. In IE however, it directly displays the image.

Firefox says it's an "application/octet-stream" instead of an image.

What Firefox is doing is correct. The images aren't sending the right MIME-type.

They should, they just don't. 8) Firefox is doing the right thing and believing the server; IE is incorrect and is second-guessing.

I think this is why I never studied programming and webdev. But I'm not sure.
