For those of you living in (or close to) the Netherlands, here's something that might be interesting to you.
It would appear that a store, called Toys XL, is hosting an event, the 22nd and 23rd of this month, for everyone who shows up with a NDS(lite)/DSI, and the Pokémon pearl/ Diamond game, to recieve an official Shaymin. 1 per game.

The USA has had a Toys 'R Us Shaymin event already, if I'm not mistaken.

Well, I guess I missed it. Oh well.

Got myself Pokemon Diamond and Pearl today :). Plus the copies I already have on my SCSD, So.. that's 4 Shaymin :). Plus 1 on each, which you can apparently get from the game it self as an easter egg, not sure if this is true. but if so, I got myself an army of 9 Shaymin :D!

If your willing to trade your event shaymin you just got, If he isnt trained yet I'll trade you something for it (something good lol)

I have already got several people offering to trade something 'nice' :P
Lets just wait till I get them Pokemon first, I'll put them on a website so ye all can look at it.

The in-game Shaymin needs an event item so you can meet/catch it.

Since the item was never distributed for Japan and US (for Diamond and Pearl), well...

For JP Platinum, the item (Oak's Letter) is being distributed (or was, I can't remember the exact dates) via Wi-Fi. Hopefully they do the same in Europe and America sometime later.

Hm, I sure hope we will get an event for Oak's letter as well. it would be neat being able to actually catch it in game. ( SR'ing for shinies! )

It seems these events are indeed still due for America and Europe.
I have a US version of Platinum (rom), which I used to connect to the Wifi center to get the Rotom Key, Just in case Europe does not get this event. (Yes, it has happened before). So that I at least have some way of getting the other forms of Rotom.

Anyway, I have set up my website where you can see the pets I have up for trade, as I promised earlier in this thread :). Just have to wait till I actually get them now :P.

I can get you the 3 starters for johto. I happen to have them all (Colosseum) and can breed them with my ditto.

Oh that would be nice. I am just waiting for my game to get here though :P. Would be a shame to get them on that rom game, and having to transfer em again alter...
