It has come to my attention that, whoops, Platinum is out. I had intended to update veekun before the US release, but my vacation visiting PurpleKecleon got in the way. I should have something clunky up within a day or two, but I didn't want to work on this codebase too much more, so it might not be beautiful.

Spline is chugging along slowly, but I am generally pleased with the results so far. I suppose I should throw up a beta sometime, but it's woefully incomplete; is anyone that direly interested in seeing this bare skeleton?

I'm interested in seeing the bare skeleton but I won't spontaneously drop dead if it isn't available for viewing in the next 48+ hours so I wouldn't classify my interest as dire.

It would be cool to see a http://beta.veekun.com/ or http://veekun.com/beta/, but according to your rules of something, users are oblivious, and thus nothing would result from it.

Yeah the thought was pretty much that the effort wouldn't be much worth it. 8)

Still, release early release often. Poke me somewhere if you ever want to see.

you don't have much to worry about I don't think people will be finishing pokedexes and looking for large statistics in a few days. As long as you have moves out there, people will be okay for a week (and besides the guide is out)

wow i think it took Philly longer than 5 posts to earn the stamp. To get a dumb stamp this early you have to be incredibly immature or have an IQ of 40... I mean c'mon mew 5 posts on a dumb stamp!!!!! IS there an exile stamp becuase i think it is in order :D

and not to get all the way off topic i'll be getting platinum soon. It has come to my attention that i have never battled anyone from veekun so i'll have to take care of that.

An IQ of 40 would mean you were a vegetable. IQ is actually worthless beyond gauging someone's ability to solve practical problems, such as matching shapes quickly or repeating long strings of numbers in reverse order.

also, for what it's worth Platinum does seem like a better game than Diamond/Pearl (marginally), but it just doesn't seem worth the time to me. If I ever revisit D/P it will be Platinum that I play.
