I wish I had special batteries that would never run out of energy, and never needed to be recharged. Also, they couldn't explode in any way, shape or form, and didn't cost a fortune. PLUS, only I could get them, and no one could hurt me, because the batteries made me invincible.

This thread seems to be based on the short story "The Monkey's Paw". Basically it's about a magic monkey hand that can grant any wish, but something bad happens. (Example: A family wishes that their son move out of the house, and he does-in a coffin!)
